General Terms and Conditions:
1. All Rates are in Philippine Peso and shall be deemed to be inclusive of VAT.
2. J&T Express reserves the right to change its rates, provided it notifies the client at least thirty (30)
days prior to the effectively thereof, and obtains the client’s prior written consent before
implementing the same. Should the revised rates not be acceptable to client, client shall have the
right to immediately terminate this engagement without penalty. Rates are applicable for pick-up
and delivery transactions to and from direct-served areas.
3. Rates are determined by both actual weight and volumetric weight, whichever is higher for own
packaging
4. Additional charges may apply for any packaging enhancement and other services requirement.
5. Final weight for Own Packaging shipments is the actual weight (weighed in a scale) vs. Volume
weight (dimensions of package), whichever is higher rounded up to the next whole number. To
compute for the volume weight, use the following formula: Length (cm) x Width (cm) x Height
(cm)/3500.
Example:
30cm x 30cm x 30cm/3500 = 7.7 kg
6. “Return to Sender” will be billed 50% of the total shipping fee. For clarity, the RTS charge will
only be imposed on parcels that are successfully returned to the customer.
7. Maximum of 2 delivery attempts per waybill.

8. Additional charges of 2.75% of invoice value are applicable for cash on delivery (COD). Payment
will be remitted twice within a week.
9. All rates/surcharges are subject to 12% VAT and withholding tax unless otherwise specified.
10. For the safety, J&T Express provides a value-added service, which is a special service for
express mail. The value-added fee is 1% of the declared price of the item (according to the
invoice of the item). J&T Express may set up appropriate rounding-off mechanisms or otherwise
round-off amounts hereunder to the nearest higher amount in whole currency.
The minimum valuation fee to be paid is Php 5.00 and the maximum amount for liability is Php
30, 000 per shipment.
11. Rates are valid upon acceptance and with notification to J&T Express. Bookings shall be
accepted once confirmation of rate acceptance is received.
12. Shipping Fees are based on its accounted weight after final packaging. Additional charges, if any.
13. Any billing concern(s) must be communicated in writing within seven (7) days from the date of
receipt, otherwise it shall be considered correct and payable in full.
14. All sea freight and airfreight shipments are subject to the terms and conditions written at the
back of the consignment note (Bill of lading / Air Waybill).
15. In the event of claims, a formal written claim must be submitted to J&T Express within 30 days
from the date of shipment for loss items and 7 days from the date of receipt for damaged items.
Otherwise, the claim shall be deemed abandoned and waived. If you declare the value of the
item/package, our maximum liability is Php 30, 000.00 per package/shipment and the maximum
compensation amount for document parcel is Php 500.00. We do not provide all-risk insurance.
*We highly suggest to all clients to immediately report the loss or damage and to notify J&T
Express as soon as they received report/complaint from their customers. Failure to notify within
the specific time stated shall be tantamount to waiver of Client’s right to claim
16. J&T Express is not be liable for any failure of or delay that is due to causes beyond its
reasonable control, including but not limited to, acts of God, war, strikes or labor disputes,
embargoes, government orders or any other force majeure event
17. J&T Express will not be liable for any legal obligation that may arise from any arrangement
made by the client to any parties that was not documented, quoted, and billed or covered by our
terms and conditions.
18. J&T Express reserves the right to refuse acceptance of goods that is, to our judgment, unfit for
storage/transportation and/or anything that is restricted by FTEB & CAB.
19. This proposal is exclusive to Sellmoto Digital Marketing Services. All the arrangements and
rates contained here are not intended for dissemination to a third party.
PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
CASH
1. Payment upon pickup.

1. or Invoices are issued every seven (7) days and due seven (7) days from receipt of invoice.

2. J&T Express reserves the right to convert the Shipper to Cash terms for failure to settle invoices on
due date.
CASH ON DELIVERY
1. Weekly VIP payout will be every Tuesday and Thursday.
Whereas :
 Payout for Saturday to Tuesday transactions will be every Thursday the same week.
 Payout for Wednesday to Friday transactions will be every Tuesday the following week.
2. A statement of account (SOA) shall be sent to the client a day before the remittance day. For clarity:
a. COD charges shall be based on successfully delivered COD packages.
b. Shipping fees will be based on confirmed shipped transactions.
c. RTS fees will be based on packages that are successfully returned to sender.
3. Cash collected by J&T Express on behalf of the client shall automatically be offset against client’s
payables. Any excess cash shall be remitted to the client on the scheduled remittance day. On the
other hand, if client’s payables exceed the cash collections, the balance shall be carried over to
succeeding SOAs until fully offset.
